What is this Cleaning Diva business? I have always had that entrepreneurial spark in me and enjoy doing things that I...well... enjoy doing. I happen to be one of "those people" who finds cleaning to be theraputic. Peculiar, perhaps. But it is what it is! I decided to start a home cleaning business so that I could continue to maintain control of my days and life and enjoy my own clean home and family all while being able to offer a service that is a treat of sorts to others who wish to come home to a sparkling, clean house so that they, too, can sit back and relax and enjoy their spare time. Rather than cleaning the fan blades and toilets, how about ....golfing... a day at the beach... reading a book... going to see a movie.... or just drifting asleep on the couch because you can. I was making my bed one day... just as I do every day immedietely upon waking up because I feel totally disheveled if I leave my bed unmade [sad, I know]...and somewhere in between the fluffling of the sheets and arranging my 'not allowed to sleep on but they sure look pretty' decorative pillows, My Cleaning Diva was born. Call me crazy... if you must.... but call me to set up a time for a free "get your clean on" consultation today! (239) 849.8039 asha@mycleaningdiva.com
About The Cleaning Diva
My name is Asha and I have self-diagnosed myself with having OCD [obsessive cleaning disorder]. Apparently, my own house is not big enough to satisfy my need to clean and now I want to take care of yours. I offer a professional, efficient, and friendly service to those who desire having some help around the house. Whether it's on a weekly, a bi-weekly, or a monthly basis, your Cleaning Diva is here for you! Even if you're just looking for a one time cleaning, maybe as a little treat for yourself or perhaps you're preparing for the arrival of visitors, you can call me! Don't let the name 'diva' fool you. The word has a bad reputation, but I assure you, I am always friendly and professional. I don't throw temper tantrums nor do I demand only red M&Ms to be left in a clear dish to the left of the stove for me to enjoy as I clean. (by the way, I really love peanut... just in case you maybe wanted to know) A little bit of information about myself and why oh why I do this: I am a wife and a mother to two wonderful children, ages 13 and 11. I enjoy writing, reading, spending time with my family, traveling, and.... yup...you guessed it....cleaning. What I do not enjoy is people coming in behind me to mess up my perfectly clean house, but since we do LIVE in our home, I guess that is inevitable. Some of my favorite moments are when I can plop down on the sofa and relish in the cleanliness that surrounds me. Even if it's just for five minutes! I mean, that's reasonable. Four 1/2 hours of cleaning = approximately five minutes of actually staying clean. Right? I think the reason I enjoy cleaning other people's homes is because I can get my therapy, make someone happy and then get the heck out before [what I like to call] "the destroyers" take over. I might be the one who just spent the entire afternoon with my hands in the toilets and scrubbing the sinks but I am long gone and as far as I'm concerned, the house is pretty and shiny until it's my turn to come again. That is why I enjoy this business. I don't have to witness the demise of all my hard work!
